Thirty local and international internet organisations held a joint Internet New Year's event on in Amsterdam. As in previous years, we had a range of "lightning talks" and other interesting activities.
The event was held in Amsterdam at De Tolhuistuin, Buiksloterweg 5c, 1031 CC Amsterdam. (how to get there).
The internet new years event is great for catching up with old friends and acquaintances, as well as meeting new people working in various areas of the internet. The programme was rich and diverse as always, thanks to the programme committee that selected a diversity of lightning talks. The ISOC.nl Internet Innovatie Award 2015 was handed out to Menso Heus and Melanie Rieback for NetAidKit.
The chairpersons debate led by Olaf Kolkman touched on some very interesting challenges to the internet, but also went into the sad events earlier in Paris.19:00 - 19:10 | Mieke van Heesewijk - Transparant Nederland |
